Morgantown police were dispatched to a reported break-in of a residence on Sawmill Road on October 3.

Victims stated they had returned home to find a man inside their living room.

Victims stated the man charged at a female resident and attempted to remove her baby from its stroller by force, demanding money. The suspect took cash from one of the children’s backpacks.

Through investigation, Officer Burden identified the perpetrator, Donny McDaniels Jr., and, in short order, located and arrested him.

Donny McDaniels Jr., age 50, of Morgantown, KY, is lodged in the Butler County Jail charged with:

Kidnapping “attempt”
