On March 22, officers with the Morgantown Police Department investigated a series of thefts throughout the City of Morgantown.

Responding to Meredith's Discount Liquor store during an alarm call around 6:40 am, officers located a suspect. Through a continuing investigation, Paul Cameron Jr., age 19 of Morgantown, was arrested and charged with:

Attempted Burglary 3rd, Carrying a Concealed Weapon x2, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm) x2, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, and Public Intoxication. The investigation is ongoing, with multiple new charges to be presented to Grand Jury.
