Butler County Judge Executive Tim Flener and Morgantown Mayor Billy J. Phelps assisted the Morgantown Butler County Chamber of Commerce in cutting the ribbon to officially open the new Full Family & Urgent Care in Morgantown. It is located at 1116 S. Main Street in Rose Plaza.

The center is fully staffed to quickly assist local families with non-life-threatening urgent medical care for accidents, falls, fevers, colds, cuts requiring some stitches, body sprains and strains, and minor bone fractures.  Full Family & Urgent Care also offers weight management, women’s health and COVID-19/antibody testing. It serves the business community with drug screenings, DOT testing and quick medical care for injured workers.

Most recently, the clinic has seen both acute and chronic conditions such as strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, mono, hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders and minor injuries. It is accepting new primary care patients and has an on-site lab. The rapid COVID-19 tests can yield results in just 10 minutes. The clinic can also conduct PCR COVID saliva testing, especially for children.

Dr. Chris Fuller, founder of the multi-location Fuller Physical Therapy, now owns the once shuttered facility. The center has a dedicated staff and uses all the precautions necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nurse practitioner Susan Hicks, MSN, APRN, FNP-C provides oversight and medical care for Full Family & Urgent Care. She is joined by Medical Assistant Amber Embry.

While extra precautions are being taken to keep the facility sanitized, some patients can choose to hold a telemedicine visit when feasible.

Full Family & Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed Sundays. No appointments or referrals are needed.
