Officers with Morgantown Police Department were contacted on May 17 by parents who reported that their juvenile child had been having a sexual relationship with a 32-year-old.

MPD opened an investigation and Ann Medeiros of Morgantown was arrested and taken into custody at her Morgantown residence.  The arresting officers were Luke Mooneyhan and Sgt. Jessie Burden.  

The accused, Medeiros, was charged with Rape - 3rd degree. She is lodged in the Butler County Jail.
