Morgantown-Butler County Swim Team picks up another victory

On June 28th the Morgantown-Butler County Swim Team traveled to Glasgow for a tri-meet between Glasgow, Portland, and MBCST. The meet had a very rough start as Portland had the meet on their schedule as being hosted at Morgantown and showed up at the Morgantown City Pool. Once all teams made it to Glasgow the meet ran very smoothly. MBCST was able to come out ahead of both teams making the season thus far a 5-1. When Coach Erin announced that the team had won the meet the swimmers cheered with excitement and a parent, Marty Jones, screamed, "Push the coach in!" Coach Erin quickly pointed to Coach Josh who was collecting the ribbons for the swimmers and said, "The coach is over there."  By the end of the night both coachs were thrown in the pool by the swimmers, a tradition when a team wins a meet.

There were several swimmers who had time improvements from the meet:

Austin Burden, pictured above, improved his time in the 50 meter Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and the 100 meter IM.
