What do you need to know about BRADD?
The Barren River Area Development District (BRADD) is a quasi-government, regional planning and development agency, established in 1968. We are one of 15 Area Development Districts (ADDS) across the Commonwealth known for leaving federal, state, and local dollars to improve the quality of life in our districts. We help communities in their economic development efforts through grant writing and technical support. Some of our assistance comes through Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), transportation and infrastructure planning, and a business service Revolving Loan Fund (RLF). We also provide health and human service programming to the aging and disabled populations in all ten counties, including Butler County. These supports include programs like home and community based waivers, case management for homecare care, meal delivery, and maintaining a regional Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). To learn more about all of our programs and services go to www.bradd.org or find us on your choice of social media.
