Morgantown Bank & Trust is pleased to announce for the 2021- 2022 school year all student admission to any home sporting event for Butler County Middle and High  School will be free of charge.

As a community bank, Morgantown Bank & Trust takes great pride in giving back to our local schools.  In addition to this athletic donation, the bank continues to inject a significant number of resources in  support of our local schools with the Spirit Card Program, volunteer hours and sponsorships.

Jason Jones, EVP of Morgantown Bank & Trust states, “A huge part of supporting our community is  investing in our students and their families, a lot of whom have ties back to our customers and our  employees. This donation will help ease the financial burden of our local families by allowing ALL K-12  Students to attend any Butler County High School or Middle School home sporting event FREE OF  CHARGE. The last year has been tough in so many ways on our youth. This is just a small thing we can  do to help them regain that school spirit and to create something positive for our community! We  thank the Butler County School system for allowing us to provide this for their students! ”

Superintendent Robert Tuck says, “On behalf of the Butler County Board of Education and School, I would like to thank Morgantown Bank & Trust for their continued support over the years. It is easy to see they are totally vested in our community and developing our youth through experiences and opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. This partnership is just one example of how they are shaping the next generation of local and global citizens right here in Butler County.”

Stoye Young, Principal of Butler County High School, “We are so thankful to have a business like Morgantown Bank & Trust to help our students have more positive experiences while in high school.  We strive for a safe, but spirited community, and Morgantown Bank & Trust has just increased the spirit at our athletic events immensely.  We cannot wait to see our students enjoying these games!”

Butler County Middle School Principal Tim Freeman also expressed his appreciation for the MB&T initiative and for how it will impact students.

“The efforts by Morgantown Bank & Trust will have a tremendously positive impact on our students.  Attending extra-curricular sporting events is an important part of student life and school culture.  This support from MB&T will make that easier.”
