Groundbreaking for the new bank location was held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2023) – Morgantown Bank & Trust has broken ground on its third location in Warren County, marking its first bank in the rapidly growing Rich Pond area. The groundbreaking was held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, to commemorate the new 4,500-square-foot space, which is expected to be complete in June of 2024.

The multimillion-dollar investment marks Morgantown Bank & Trust’s sixth overall location, with two other banks in Morgantown, Kentucky, and a loan production office in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Morgantown Bank & Trust is committed to supporting our local communities, and through this investment, we are proud to continue investing in the Bowling Green area,” said Jason Jones, President and CEO of Morgantown Bank & Trust. “As the first bank location in this growing section of the Rich Pond area, we will be able to make banking even more convenient to nearby homeowners and are proud to be one of the first to invest in this particular area. The new bank location will be located at 8051 Nashville Road. It is expected to be 3,000 square feet and will include an additional 1,500 square foot space that will be leased to another professional business that will complement the bank’s services.

Construction on the new Morgantown Bank & Trust location will be led by Sunbelt Construction. The project is being led by K4 Architecture & Design.
