Morgantown Bank & Trust awards $10K in scholarships

Morgantown Bank & Trust hosted a reception at the Data Center to honor the exceptional achievements of four scholarship recipients. These students were selected based on their outstanding academic performance, community involvement, and leadership qualities. MB&T's generous donation of $10,000 has been awarded to these exceptional students, each receiving $1,250 per semester during their first year of college.

The scholarship funds can be utilized toward various educational pathways, including a four-year college degree, a two-year college associate degree, or a vocational/technical school degree, ensuring that these individuals have the resources they need to achieve their educational goals.

"We are thrilled to support these outstanding students on their journey toward higher education," said Jason Jones, President and CEO of Morgantown Bank & Trust. "Their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence inspire us all. We believe in investing in the future leaders of our community, and we are confident that these four students will make significant contributions to our society."
