Monticello Baptist Church’s revival began Sunday morning August 24 with Bro. Curtis McGehee brought the messages each night from the book of Job. Nightly music was brought by Russ Funk (Sunday), Matthew Embry (Monday), Allison Kurfiss (Tuesday), and Sharon Gilliland and choir Wednesday.

I love acronyms. They always stick with me. Tuesday night, Bro. Curtis told us about G.R.A.C.E, or Gods Redemption At Christ’s Expense. It centers around the fact that God’s redemption came at Christ dying on the cross. Tuesday was as excellent as Monday.

Wednesday night saw our revival meetings come to a conclusion. I love harmony, and this group definitely showcased harmony! Another great message, this one about parents setting a Christian example for their kids to follow, wrapped up a great week of revival.
