Modern Woodmen Announces New Youth Club

A new Modern Woodmen of America Youth Service Club is starting in Morgantown. The club will have its first activity on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Butler County High School, 1852 South Main Street in Morgantown. Children between the ages of 12 and 16 are invited to the activity to find out about the benefits of membership.

Ashley Johnson, Morgantown, will lead the club, and Faye Milam, Morgantown, a local Modern Woodmen representative, will sponsor the club's monthly activities.

"Since 1942 Modern Woomen Youth Service Clubs have focused on volunteering, patriotism, education, and fun. Currently 750 clubs across the country serve thousands of children," says Milam.

"As a fraternal life insurer, our core values tie to helping children, their families, and their communities. And that's why we're proud to sponsor positive activities for our members," Milam adds.

If you'd like more information about becoming a member of this new club, call Milam at 270-563-9726.
