Morgantown Police responded to a call regarding a missing 15-year-old juvenile female from Florida reportedly lodged with a 26-year-old male in Morgantown, KY. Child Protective Services workers met with Morgantown Police at the reported residence, where they found the missing juvenile. The male subject was identified as Pedro Gomez, 26, of Morgantown, KY. Pedro Gomez admitted to going to her residence in Florida and taking her back to Morgantown without the consent of her guardian. CPS took the juvenile to a temporary lodge until the legal guardian could come to retrieve her from Florida. 

Morgantown Police placed Pedro Gomez under arrest for Kidnapping 1st and Sexual Abuse 1st. Pedro Gomez was taken and lodged at the Butler County Jail.
