Miss Kentucky 2012, Jessica Casebolt, a 20-year-old Georgetown College student, visited Morgantown Elementary and Butler County Middle School on Friday morning.

“I travel around the Commonwealth of Kentucky teaching and promoting healthy eating and living habits to our students while encouraging Kentuckians to purchase locally grown, manufactured, and produced goods,” said Casebolt.

Casebolt, of Pikeville, encouraged students to not smoke, eat healthy, and get plenty of exercise.
As Miss Kentucky, she receives prizes that include $15,000 in scholarships and more than $5,000 in wardrobe certificates.
Casebolt is a political science major who plans to pursue a law degree.
