Methodist Women Taster's Luncheon

Butler County United Methodist Women Taster's Luncheon was held on October 23rd, at the Morgantown First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. According to Elaine Daugherty over 126 different dishes were prepared by the ladies.

The annual event helps meet local needs by donations to: American Cancer Society, Morgantown Mission, Andrea’s Mission, Grace Soup Kitchen, Butler County Boys & Girls Club, Butler County Adult Education, Butler County Cancer Assistance, Butler County Family Resource Center, Butler County Youth Service Center, and Morgantown Care and Rehab.

“We are very pleased with the turn out this year, we had several carry out plates as well,” said Becky Hankins.
Breaded tomatoes, Kentucky Hot Brown casserole, and pumpkin pound cake were just a few of the many favorites.
