METH: Lab Discovered at "Easy Way" residence
Around 6:00 pm on Monday night a one-step active meth lab was found and destroyed by the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. After receiving a call from dispatch, Deputy Bobbie Hooten went to a residence on Easy Way in Morgantown, Kentucky. Ernest Drummer, 42, (who was currently wanted by another police agency) was standing in the door.
Drummer shut the door; Hooten arrested Drummer and discovered an active meth lab inside the home. He was charged with the following: drug paraphernalia-buy/possession-first offense, possession controlled substance-first degree- first offense, serving a warrant for other police agency, and manufacturing methamphetamine-first offense. Drummer was lodged in the Butler County Jail.
Also responding were Deputy Heath West, Morgantown Fire Department, and Morgantown City Police officers Denny Deweese and Sgt. Andy Gidcumb.
