MES Students Receive Medals In Regional Governor’s Cup

Morgantown Elementary’s Academic Team participated in Regional Governor’s Cup at Lincoln Elementary on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The following team members were awarded medals in the following events:

Cooper Ingram- 5th in Science Assessment

Alyssa Swift - 2nd in Written Composition

Alex Rich - 2nd in Social Studies Assessment

Cooper Ingram - 3rd in Social Studies Assessment

Alyssa Swift - 1st (Grand Champion) in Language Arts Assessment

Thirteen elementary schools participated in the events, Morgantown Elementary’s Academic Team placed Runner’s Up overall in the final standings.
