MES Patriot Archers Kentucky NASP State Champions, Get 2nd Place in 3D

 On Saturday, April 1st, 2017, the MES Patriot Archers travelled to Louisville, KY for the Kentucky NASP State Tournament, where they earned the new title of Kentucky NASP State Champions.  The Patriots outshot 74 other teams with a score of 3175.  Each archer has worked very hard and has earned every right to call him/herself a champion. Every archer received a medal for winning, and the team received a trophy and a new bullseye target. 

Not only did the MES Patriot Archers win the championship title, they came in 2nd place in the KY NASP/IBO 3D Challenge with a score of 1552.  Brayden Tomes shot a 277 to earn himself a 2nd place finish in the elementary boys division. 

Winning the KY State Tournament means advancing on to the NASP Nationals Tournament for bullseye and 3D.  The NASP Nationals tournament is set for May 11-13, 2017 in Louisville, KY.
