Tuesday, January 12, 2016, Morgantown Elementary School had their first ever Student Lighthouse meeting. Students were very eager and excited to begin their journey as the first ever “Student Lighthouse Team”.  First up on the agenda was to determine students roles and expectations in our school as well as the community. Next, students began to share ideas about planning our schools upcoming events such as the 100th day of school. Lastly, we discussed when students would hold their weekly meetings. Morgantown Elementary is so excited to work with this group of leaders that are representing our school. We look forward to showcasing these students’ leadership skills throughout the remainder of the year.
