What made you decide to run for this office?

For the last 8 years I have worked in the PVA office and learned so much about not only the position but this county. We have a beautiful county and a close community. I understand the impact and importance of doing this job fairly and efficiently. I have the ability and experience to do that and do it well.

What are your main qualifications for this job?

I have 8 years of experience working in every aspect of the position, working under two prior PVA’s and learning from them, designation as a Certified Kentucky Assessor, continuing education in the field, attention to detail which is highly important in this position, kindness, and caring about the people I work for(the taxpayers and citizens of Butler County).

If elected, what changes/improvements would you hope to bring to the office?

 I will strive for greater community understanding and awareness to the importance of this job, and more transparency for the citizens which can be achieved through a more interactive social media presence, continued participation in school events, and informed publications delivered in a manner we can all understand and benefit from.

In summary, why should voters cast their ballot for you?

I understand times have not been easy and we work hard for the things we have, no one wants to pay more than their fair share nor should they. I know the ins and outs of this position and how I can help you as an individual, and that by doing this job fairly and efficiently I will be helping the community as a whole. I have the most experience, and I want to put that to work in the best way I can for Butler County.
