MEAL – Agriculture Leadership Program Offered for Butler County
Farmers and others interested in agriculture have the opportunity to participate in the Motivating and Educating Agriculture Leaders program. This leadership program has been developed by local extension agents to help people develop their skills in media relations, public relations, working with elected officials, issues management, and general leadership. The program is divided into 10 sessions beginning in June 2017. All the sessions are 1 day and will be held at the Warren County Extension Office. There is a $100 registration fee to participate. Butler County has 5 slots available. This is the third round of the MEAL program. Our graduates have done exceptional work in leading agriculture forward in our area and being an advocate for our industry. Brochures with additional information about the MEAL program and applications are available at the Extension Office. The program will be beneficial for all members of the agriculture community. The registration deadline is June 1, 2017
