McKee to play in East-West All-Star game

Butler County Baseball will be represented in the annual Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association East-West All Star game. Hunter McKee, a middle infielder and pitcher, will be playing on the West Junior team.

The top sophomores and juniors from each region were selected by the coaches to play in the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association East/West All Star game, which is scheduled for July 10 at PRP High School in Louisville.

The game will feature teams with players representing regions 1-8 playing a team consisting of players from regions 9-16.

The players will participate in a showcase style workout in front of college and pro scouts and will also play a doubleheader following.

The junior game will begin at 9 a.m. EST and the Sophomore game will begin at 4 p.m. with the showcases happening prior.
