Doris Taylor Stahl, of Bowling Green,  formerly of Butler County, is proud to announce the graduation of her grandson, Matthew, on May 19, 2018, from St. Pius X Catholic school in Atlanta.
Matthew graduated Salutatorian of his class with a 4.3 average. He was a member of the honors society, making the Deans/Principles list each quarter all four years. He excelled as captain of the schools Polo/ and Diving team. He was also Student Ambassador, completing all his AP classes for his first year in college. In addition he serves as Alter server in his church, and teaches Vacation Bible School.
He will attend the University of Georgia in the fall. Matthew is the son of Debra (Stahl) and Dwayne Halbig of Lilburn, Ga. He has a brother, Zachary, and 2 sisters, Sarah and Sister Mary Jacinta.
