From high-speed Internet service to television antennas, a new electronics business is now serving customers in Butler County.

Martin Electronics, located at 401 Caneyville Road, is owned and operated by James and Jonathan Martin, a father and son duo with plenty of experience in the field.  That experience goes back a long way for James Martin, who was in the satellite business with his brother, Roger, and father, Osby Martin, for over 30 years beginning in 1983. Big satellite installation was the hot item in those days before the market moved to Dish, Direct and other providers as technology improved. 

Currently, Martin Electronics is working with multiple providers to offer high-speed Internet service, computer and home network services (PC and Mac), home security systems, and television antennas.  They will be working with both DirecTV and AT&T.  A retail store is also planned soon. 

According to its Facebook page, Martin Electronics is now offering unlimited internet with no throttling, no contract, and with speeds up to 45 megabits per second and 5 to 10x faster than DSL - a great opportunity for rural areas.
