Man faces DUI and Wanton Endangerment charges after running into Limestone Bank

On June 5th at approximately 2:45pm, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to a vehicle accident at the Limestone Bank on W G.L. Smith Street. 

Through investigation, James Brown, age 59 of Morgantown, was charged with DUI (AGG Circum) 1st degree and Wanton Endangerment, 2nd degree (2 counts). James was lodged in the Butler County Jail. Significant damage was done to Limestone Bank.

Morgan Tiemann VP, Director of Marketing and Communications commented, “This was obviously a scary and unfortunate incident, but thankfully none of our employees were physically harmed. We are still assessing the damage to the building, but in the meantime we will remain open for business as usual.”
