Local Woman Arrested for Exploiting Elderly Ohio Co. Man

On December 28, 2018, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the alleged exploitation of an adult.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Molly Johnson of Morgantown KY had financially exploited an elderly man out of an undisclosed amount of money on one occasion and had attempted to exploit the same man on a separate occasion. All of the alleged incidents occurred days after the 2018 Christmas Holiday. The victim in this case is 84 years old.

Johnson was arrested in Morgantown KY and is currently lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing at this time and more arrests are likely.
