Local students recognized for their academic performance
Cumberlands' President's List for the Spring '26 semester
WILLIAMSBURG, KY (05/06/2026)-- In recognition of academic performance, the Office of Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has named several local students to the President's List for the spring 2026 semester.
To be eligible for the President's List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (a full course load), maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 4.0 for the semester, receive an "A" grade in UC Engage, and be in good academic standing. (Note: All students who are named to the President's List automatically make the Dean's List, since the Dean's List requires a minimum semester GPA of 3.5; however, Cumberlands only lists students on either the Dean's List or the President's List, to avoid overlap.)

Iztcel Meers Named to Lindsey Wilson University 2026 Spring Semester President's List
COLUMBIA, KY (05/11/2026)-- Iztcel Meers from Morgantown, Kentucky, has been named to the Lindsey Wilson University President's List for the 2026 spring semester.
The President's List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have achieved a 4.00 grade point average on a 4.00 scale and who are in good academic standing for the semester.
Lindsey Wilson University is a vibrant liberal arts university in Columbia, Kentucky. Founded in 1903 and affiliated with The United Methodist Church, the mission of Lindsey Wilson is to serve the educational needs of students by providing a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and grows and feels like a real human being. Lindsey Wilson offers 30 undergraduate majors, five graduate programs and a doctoral program.
