Local Authors Share Stories of Faith, Family, and Perseverance

Readers looking for inspiring new books have several titles to choose from as local authors Luke Mooneyhan, Tiffany Hampton, and Tonya White bring a variety of stories and perspectives to the page.

Luke Mooneyhan recently released two novels that explore themes of courage, leadership, and personal growth. His most recently released novel Henderson Ridge is set in a small Kentucky coal-mining community where a teenager finds himself caught between family loyalty, political conflict, and a secret romance. The story highlights the challenges of standing up for what is right regardless of the circumstances.

Mooneyhan's first novel, The Silent Divide, takes readers into a post-apocalyptic world where survivors must rebuild community after a devastating virus outbreak. As a group of strangers struggle to create order in uncertainty, the story examines leadership, sacrifice, and the choices people make in difficult times.

Tiffany Hampton offers a message of faith and purpose in children’s book, Sonny's Best Day Ever!.  The children’s book follows a young basketball player whose dreams extend beyond the court as he begins to discover what truly matters in life.

“My prayer is that God uses this book to plant seeds of love, faith, and the recognition of His power in our lives,” said Hampton.

Tonya White's Walking Beside the Calling: A Pastor's Wife's Journey of Faith, Strength, and Grace provides encouragement for pastor's wives and ministry spouses. Drawing from her personal experiences in ministry, White reflects on the rewards and challenges that often come with serving alongside those called to church leadership.

“Ministry is a beautiful journey, but it can also come with challenges, questions, and seasons of growth. As a pastor’s wife, I have experienced many of those moments firsthand, which inspired me to write Walking Beside the Calling,” White explained in a recent Facebook post.

All three authors make their home in Butler County and join a growing group of local authors including Karen Lain, Connie Embry, Audrey Pendley, Natalie Hughes Park, Linda Hawkins, and Don Lindsey, all of whom Beech Tree News has featured in the past.

You can find all of these local authors’ books on Amazon  as well as other book sellers.
