The Little Muddy RD Club met March 19th, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.  There were 20 people present.  The meeting began with Jared Hudnall leading the club in the pledge to the American flag.  Greg Drake gave the blessing for the meal. After the meal President Sean Weeks called the business meeting to order. The minutes were read by Secretary, Donnita Weeks and approved.   The birthdays and anniversaries were announced and celebrated with song. The club thanked the hostess for the night Mary Hatcher.
In old business, Gregory Drake announced that the Leadership Training Class that was held on February 23rd at the Butler County Extension Office was a success with 25 attendees. Gregory also announced that the Stockman’s Association cattle sale that was held on March 10th was a great success with 46 calves being sold.
In new business, a motion was made by Judy Dye to buy supplies for the club. Judy Dye and Mary Hatcher will inventory what is needed and purchase the supplies. The motion carried.  Gregory Drake announced that there would be a Stockman’s Association meeting on Thursday, March 29th at 6:00 p.m. at the Butler County Extension Office.  Wayne Hatcher encouraged those present to attend the meeting and join the Stockman’s Association.  Sean Weeks informed club members that he had contacted the Butler County Judge Executive office about the $100 dollar a mile roadside cleanup project. A motion was made by Shanna Drake not to participate in the program this year. The motion carried. Gregory Drake talked to members about the first year of the business incubator program. He spoke on Charlie’s Chicken that will be opening in Morgantown soon.
After the business meeting President, Sean Weeks turned the program over to program leader Jeremy Hudnall who talked to members about the beauty of spring and also about the club putting its best foot forward for the community.  After the program there was no other business and the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Little Muddy Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend.
