The Little Muddy RD Club met January 16th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.  There were 12 people present.  The meeting began with Maggie Drake leading the club in the pledge to the American flag.  Gabe Keen gave the blessing for the meal. After the meal President Sean Weeks called the business meeting to order. The minutes were read by Secretary, Donnita Weeks and approved.  The birthdays and anniversaries were announced and celebrated with song. The club thanked the host for the night Sean Weeks. 
In old business, Danny Dye announced that the new sign had been installed. All members agreed that it looked great. Sean Weeks reminded club members about the food drive for the Morgantown Mission that was held during the December & January meetings. Gregory Drake volunteered to take the items to the Morgantown Mission. Shanna Drake announced that there was an article in the local paper about all the good things happening at Andrea’s Mission and how appreciative they were for the support of the community. President Sean Weeks handed out a recommended budget for the 2011-2012 fiscal year and opened the floor for discussion. Danny Dye made a motion to accept the recommended budget as presented. The motion carried.
In new business, Rita Drake discussed whether or not we should offer money or reimbursement to individuals that present at monthly meetings. Everyone agree that this would have to be handled on a per instance basis. Shanna Drake announced that the Steering Committee would be willing to reimburse her for the ham she purchased for the Annual Meeting or the club could volunteer to pay for the expense. A motion was made by Rita Drake and carried to have the club reimburse Shanna Drake for the ham. Gregory Drake announced that there would be a Leadership Training Class on February 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Butler County Extension Office. He also announced that former mayor Mr. Charles Black had passed away and shared the funeral arrangements with members. After the meeting there was no program and the meeting was adjourned.
