The Little Muddy RD Club met December 19th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.  There were 24 people present.  The meeting began with Jared Hudnall leading the club in the pledge to the American flag.  Rita Drake gave the blessing for the meal. After the meal President Sean Weeks called the business meeting to order. The minutes were read by Secretary, Donnita Weeks and approved.  The club thanked the hostesses for the night Gregory, Shanna & Maggie Drake.
In old business, Shanna Drake announced that the club donated gifts for 16 children for the families at Andrea’s Mission. Sean Weeks reminded club members that we are holding a food drive for Morgantown Mission. Danny Dye volunteered to deliver the items collected at the December meeting to the Mission. Wayne Hatcher & Danny Dye reported on the progress of the new sign for the club. They showed several designs to club members and after much discussion they said they would try to have the sign installed before the next meeting. Shanna Drake announced that she had purchased the $100 dollars of toys for the Family Resource Center. Several members helped wrap gifts and they estimate that they helped over 360 children this year. 
In new business, Sean Weeks announced that he was going to work on a budget for the 2011-2012 year and present that at the next meeting. Judy Dye reminded members that we will be having soup and chili at the January meeting. Judy Dye made a motion to continue the food drive for the Morgantown Mission for the January meeting. The motion carried.
After the business meeting, President, Sean Weeks turned the meeting over to program leaders Gregory & Shanna Drake. They entertained the club with several funs games and everyone enjoyed the Christmas spirit. After the program there was no other business and the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be Monday, Janurary 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Little Muddy Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend.
