Dear Editor,
Under the new redistricting plan, Butler County is now part of the 6th Senatorial District that also includes Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Ohio counties.
I look forward to serving as your Senator. To assist me in being more effective, it is important that I hear from you about the community’s needs. Your ideas and advice will be important in guiding my work in Frankfort.
Throughout my tenure in the Kentucky General Assembly, I have had a strong record of working for significant progress in such areas as roads, education, economic development and infrastructure. One of my main concerns during the 2014 Legislative Session will be to balance the state budget while preserving health care, public safety and, of course, education. Other top priorities will include stimulating economic growth to create new jobs and protecting the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable citizens.
My overall goal is to work to improve the quality of life for all the citizens of the 6th District. That is why it is so vital that you stay in contact with me on any issues and concerns you may have. Together we will make a difference and move Butler County forward.
