I don’t normally voice my opinion on politics because I think it’s a private matter of whom you vote for and why. However, I just can not help but love Tim Flener and it makes me happy to see him reaching so many lives throughout our county.

1/3 of my childhood was spent in his home. He loved me as his own. He would often times not get home from work until we were already asleep, and would be gone before we woke up in the morning. He’s served this county through his business.

Not only has he served Butlercountians through his business but also as a deacon at Belmont Church. My favorite personal memory is not walking into Aberdeen Grocery to his smiling face, it is not riding on the four-wheeler looking for deer with him and Kenzie, it is not hearing him pray for me in the background when I bring my needs to the altar...

My favorite memory is Tim coming to Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville Kentucky on August 17th, 2017. We received news that Mom would be having Cooper by emergency C-Section. My brother and I arrived to the hospital 20 minutes after he was born and Tim, Lisa, and Kenzie were already there. Cooper had many tests to be ran, and after 3 hours of waiting, we finally got to meet him. Tim and Lisa stayed at the hospital until 12:30am to meet my brother and support my family and they would’ve stayed longer had we asked them to.

I do not share this story in hopes of earning Tim votes through sympathy for Cooper. I share this story to allow everyone to see the type of man Tim Flener is. He prays. He cares. He listens. He is not quick to anger. He is humble. He is down to earth. He is a hard worker. He is a Christian. He is Butler County. #flenerforjudge
