Let the Cowboy Rock

Thursday night November 8th, a packed house attended the Holliday Bash concert at the SKYPAC featuring the legendary Ronnie Dunn.  This was part of his,  “Let the Cowboy Rock Tour.”  After being welcomed and thanked for supporting the cause, Ronnie’s opener for the show, BMI artist Bree Black, sang some of her own songs as well as a cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”.

Ronnie took the stage to a huge ovation.  He performed some original material, including his singles “Cost Of Living”, “Bleed Red”, and the title of his new album (and this tour) “Let the Cowboy Rock” as well as more off his new album. He sang a lot of Brooks & Dunn classics and a great, soulful version of the late Ray Charles classic “You Don’t Know Me."

Over $80,000 in concert ticket sales were raised for local charities. 100% of the proceeds will benefit many charities in South Central Kentucky, including area Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Center for Courageous Kids, The National Corvette Museum-where the actual Holiday Bash will be held November 16, and United Way of Southern Kentucky, among others.
