Lady Bears Roll Pass Warren East 51-39

The Butler County Lady Bears traveled to Bowling Green on Tuesday night to face the Lady Raiders of Warren East. At the end of the first quarter the ladies were tied at 10 all. The Lady Bears were without starter Lynsie Clark due to minor surgery on her eye. Clark is expected to be out for a week. Madeline Drake stepped up with 20 points for the evening while Katie Graham added 15.

Butler County took a 7 point lead into the locker room at half-time up 23-16. Warren East Coach Aaron Richmond’s Raiders had their best quarter of the game scoring 12 points in the third, but it was too little too late, as the Lady Bears took the win 51-39.

The Lady Bears now 3-1 on the season will host the Lady Raiders of Whitesville Trinity on Friday, December 7th, in a varsity only game starting at 6pm.
