MORGANTOWN - Butler County is scheduled to host 3rd Region rival

Daviess County for a 2020-21 girls' high school basketball season opener on

Tuesday, Jan. 5.

During the 2019-20 girls' high school basketball season, Butler County and

Daviess County split a pair of hoops games. 

Butler County concluded the 2019-20 girls' high school basketball season 13-17.

The Lady Bears lost to

Grayson County in the 2019-20 12th District Girls' Basketball Tournament Semifinals.

Daviess County ended the 2019-20 girls' high school basketball season 10-19.

The Lady Panthers

lost to Apollo in the 2019-20 9th District Girls' Basketball Tournament Semifinals.

Butler County's 2020-21 schedule includes games versus Daviess County,

Whitesville Trinity, Metcalfe County, Hopkins County Central, Grayson County,

Allen County-Scottsville, Edmonson County, Ohio County, Russellville,

Russell County, Franklin-Simpson, Lyon County, Cloverport, University Heights,

Muhlenberg County, Logan County. Owensboro, Cumberland County, Todd County Central

and Trigg County.
