Lady Bears Honor Seniors
The Butler County Lady Bears honored their seniors on Monday night prior to the first round of the 12th District Basketball Tournament. The following students along with their parents were recognized:
Katie Graham is the daughter of Steve Graham of Davis Crossroads and Lori Graham of Logansport. Katie has played basketball for Butler County High School for six years. She has played since her seventh grade year. Katie plans on attending Western Kentucky University and pursing a degree in Sociology with a possibility of law school.

Lynsie Clark is the daughter of Jack and Sherry Clark of Leonard Oak. Lynsie has played basketball for Butler County High School for six years. She also has played since her seventh grade year. She is considering playing softball at Bresica University in Owensboro or St. Catherine University. Lynsie is pursuing a degree in business.

McKenzie Smith is the daughter of Steve Smith of Bowling Green and Kelly McKinney of Quality. She has played basketball for Butler County High School for three years. She plans on attending Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in nursing.

Austin McKinney is the son of Steve and Christal McKinney of Morgantown. This is Austin’s first year working with the Lady Bears as manager. Austin is planning on furthering his education at either Campbellsville University or Kentucky Weslyan.

Laura Baseheart is the daughter of Tony and Lisa Rhoades of Woodbury and late Bill Baseheart. Laura has cheered for the BCHS Varsity squad for six years. She started her seventh grade year. Laura plans on attending Owensboro Technical College and pursuing a degree in nursing, then finishing up at WKU with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
