Lady Bears go 1-2 at Marshall County Tournament

The Butler County Lady Bears took the middle game of a three game set last week in the Lady Marshal Holiday Classic at Marshall County.  Butler County defeated Paducah Tilghman 54-36 on Tuesday, fell 58-29 to Shelbyville Central (TN) on Monday, and lost 67-39 to Casey County on Wednesday to conclude tournament play.

A difficult 16-4 first quarter deficit proved too much to overcome against a good Shelbyville Central team in the Lady Bears' opening game.  Trailing 30-10 at the half, the Lady Bears weren't able to mount a comeback, losing 58-29.

Addison Hall led Butler County in scoring with 11 points.

As a team, Butler County hit 9 two-point field goals, scored no points from the three-point line, and was 11 for 22 from the free throw line.
