Lady Bears drop match at Allen County-Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE — Butler County slipped back into the loss column as host Allen County-Scottsville pulled away to win 6-1 in a girls' high school soccer match on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Kynleigh Schultz scored three goals to lead Allen County-Scottsville to the win.
In addition to Schultz's hat trick, Gabrielle Corbett (two goals), Emma Stovall (one goal, one assist) and Gabby Garcia (one assist) produced offensively for Allen County-Scottsville in the victory. 
Corbett and Chloe Sweeney split time at goalkeeper for Allen County-Scottsville, combining to record seven saves while limiting Butler County to one goal. 
Offensively for Butler County, Allison Johnson scored off an assist from Yesenia Diaz. 
Goalkeeper Courtnei Alexander paced Allen County-Scottsville defensively, recording 15 saves while allowing six saves. 
Butler County is scheduled to visit Meade County for an 11th District girls' soccer match at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
