Crews will begin the placement of barrier wall on the William H. Natcher Parkway at the Green River Bridge (mile marker 34.8) Monday, April 1, in preparation for overlay work on the bridge deck.
A lane closure for the northbound direction will be put into place and remain for approximately 4-5 weeks. This closure will remain in place 24/7 and will be limited in width to 13 ft. or less.
Information regarding southbound lane closures will be distributed prior to the work changing directions.
This work involves the replacement of the concrete on the bridge deck as well as addressing any potential repairs once the concrete is removed.
Awarded to MAC Construction and Excavating, Inc. for $342,000, the project is scheduled for completion in mid-May.
