KY Christian Recovery holds grand opening

The Kentucky Christian Recovery held its grand opening on Thursday, January 16th. The 16-bed residential program is in the former Third District Elementary School, which is located at 263 Huntsville-Quality Road.

According to Director Chad Cardwell, the mission of Kentucky Christian Recovery (KCR) is to heal those enslaved by the chains of addiction through the power of Jesus Christ, by showing his love to all people that are served, offering Christ-centered, holistic treatment for men.

KCR will offer a three-phase program:

  • Phase 1 is a Short Term Residential Treatment ( 3 months)
  • Phase 2 is Intensive Outpatient Services
  • Phase 3 is Sober living/Outpatient

Therapist Ben West, LPCC, is in charge of the treatment modalities. Licensed or certified counselors will do all therapies.

Family, group, and individual counseling will be used from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach and using the Twelve Step model.

According to Executive Director Dante Paul, " We believe that all facets of treatment are important but much more than that, spiritual wellness is a core component of change."

KCR hopes to start taking residents in the next month. For more information, follow them on Facebook or call 270 934-2024.
