Kentucky State Police Pursuit Leads to the Recovery of a Stolen Vehicle
Bowling Green, KY. (February 6, 2021) – On February 5th, 2021, a Kentucky State Police Post 3 Trooper observed a vehicle traveling south on US 231 in Butler County that matched the description of a stolen vehicle report received earlier. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 33 year-old Nathan W. Constant of Paducah, who had active felony warrants. Upon the Trooper activating his emergency equipment the vehicle fled toward Warren County. The vehicle stopped momentarily and two passengers exited Constant's vehicle before he again started to flee . The pursuit continued into Warren County until the vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Highland Church Road and Wand Cemetery Road. Nathan Constant was taken into custody and lodged in the Butler County Jail.
Constant was charged with the following:
Speeding 26 MPH or > Speed Limit
Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol
Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (motor vehicle)
Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000
Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree
Possession of Marijuana
Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree
Possess of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
Failure to Wear Seat Belt
Improper Registration Plate
Operating on a Suspended Operators License
