Frankfort, KY (July 21, 2017)- The Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green announces Trooper Jason A. Adkison as “Trooper of the Year”  and Detective Joshua R. Amos as “Detective of the Year” for Kentucky State Police, Post 3 Bowling Green.

Trooper Adkison, an Allen County native, is a three year veteran with the Kentucky State Police and has served in his current assignment for two and a half years.  Trooper Adkison is a graduate of Allen County High School and has served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004-2008.  He is also a graduate from Western Kentucky University Class of 2013.  He is the son of the late Mark Adkison of Scottsville, and Cynthia Pardue of Scottsville.

Detective Amos, a Butler County native, is a 5 year veteran with the Kentucky State Police and has served in his current assignment as Detective for one year.  Detective Amos is a graduate of Butler County High School.   Detective Amos has served roles in Law Enforcement with other local agencies, and has been assigned to Post 3 as a road Trooper from July 2012 to May 2016 prior to his assignment as Detective.
