Jesus and Coffee Ministries celebrates 3 years

Jesus and Coffee Ministries will celebrate the group’s three-year anniversary on Saturday, September 17th with a free event. The celebration will include worship, a devotion, breakfast and door prizes. All women are encouraged to attend the event, even if you haven’t previously been a part of a Jesus and Coffee meeting.

Bridgette Dockery, founder of Jesus and Coffee Ministries describes it as “a group of women from all ages, backgrounds, & denominations with one common mission, to spread the good news of Jesus.” Dockery says Jesus and Coffee Ministries was founded out of her desire to “create a safe place for every woman to come and feel like they belong.”  Jesus and Coffee Ministries seeks to grow the kingdom of God reaching “outside of the four walls we worship in on Sunday. The group “has been blessed to reach outside our county lines, through Zoom meetings, reaching to states all over the US and even other countries,” says Dockery.

The group meets every other Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Group members can attend in person or via Zoom from the comfort of their homes. At meetings, a member shares a devotion, members share testimonies and prayer requests, and pray for these requests as well as the community and country.

This year’s anniversary celebration, sponsored by Jesus and Coffee Ministries as well as Impact Ministries, will take place at New Beginnings Church, beginning at 10:00 am. Worship will be led by Hannah VanMeter, Jayla Banse, Hannah Phelps, Brenn Embry, Shera Lindsey and Heidi VanMeter. Founder Bridgette Dockery will lead the devotion.
