James Runion honored as Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance's 2019 District Two Agency Manager of the Year

 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2020) – James Runion, agency manager of the Butler County agency of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, has been named 2019 Agency Manager of the Year for District Two. The award was presented during the company's 65th annual sales conference, held in Louisville on Feb. 10.


The District Two Agency Manager of the Year award recognizes the agency manager who displayed the highest level of excellence in overall sales production, satisfactory loss-ratio, service to policyholders and an affirmative attitude. District Two is a 22-county region consisting of agencies in the following counties: Allen, Barren, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Cumberland, Edmonson, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Logan, Marion, Meade, Metcalfe, Monroe, Nelson, Simpson, Spencer, Warren and Washington.


Runion attended Eastern Kentucky University, earning a bachelor's degree in education. He and his wife, Ashley, have one child, Ben. Runion is active in the local Chamber of Commerce and the Extension Board, and he is a member of Crossland Community Church.


Runion heads the list of a well-established network of approximately 375 Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance agents statewide.
