It's Homemaker Pecan Time!!

It’s pecan fundraising time for the Butler County Homemakers!  Homemakers are taking orders for the FRESH 2022 crop of Schermer pecans, either pieces, halves or chocolate halves, through October 14th.  These are fresh pecans (fresh 2022 crop coming off the trees in September) and the Homemakers will be getting delivery of some of the first pecans picked.  While we ‘usually’ have extra bags to sell upon arrival, extras go fast!  DON’T WAIT – Place your order today to guarantee you get the fresh pecans you need for your baking or holiday stocking stuffers!

Pecans are being sold for the SAME PRICE AS LAST YEAR!  Halves and pieces are being sold for $10.00 per pound, with chocolate covered halves being sold for $10.50 per 12 oz bag.

The funds raised from this project are used to provide two educational scholarships each year.

Contact any of the following club members or the Extension Office (526-3767) to place an order:  Dianne Kessinger (526-5531), Sherry Johnson (999-2004), Charlene Cook (526-6466), Tammy Alford (999-3222) or any Homemaker you know.

For more information, contact the Butler Cooperative Extension Service at 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown or call 270-526-3767.
