Hunt named Class 2A, District 2 Player of the Year

MORGANTOWN — Butler County senior athlete Brody Hunt has been named the Class 2A, District 2 Player of the Year.
Hunt excelled throughout the 2022 high school football season, leading Butler County to a runner-up finish in Class 2A, District 2.
Thriving on the ground for Butler County, Hunt rushed 106 times for 1,008 yards and 12 touchdowns in 11 games.
Among the top high school football players in Class 2A, Hunt hauled in eight receptions for 87 yards.
Hunt scored 76 points for the Bears.
A two-way standout, Hunt recorded 41 tackles and a team-high seven interceptions. Hunt returned one interception for a touchdown during Butler County's latest gridiron campaign.
After making an appearance in the Class 2A State Playoffs, Butler County exited the 2022 high school football season 8-3.
