MARK ALLEN'S SCOUTING REPORT:  Week 2 - Webster County

Scouting Report- Webster Co. Trojans… this new opponent from Dixon, Ky in far west Kentucky lost its season opener to Crittenden Co. last week 31-8. Look for Webster Co. to rely on the running game. Webster Co. ran the ball 42 times last week, while only throwing 9 passes in its opening loss. The Trojans also lost 3 fumbles last week.

Coach Brandon Embry & staff hope to build on last week’s win over Russellville 29-7. Look for the Bears to stick to the plan of running the football behind that big strong offensive line; and defensively put pressure on Webster Co. to turn the ball over.

Tonight’s game fans be prepared for extended timeouts given by the game officials due to extreme heat. Conditioning will come into play tonight, with the past week’s temperatures both teams have had to hold daily practices indoors due to extreme heat & KHSAA heat index guidelines.

High School football Friday night lights are here; join the action tonight and note again the special kickoff time at 8:00pm due to extreme heat conditions as the Bears play at HOME in week #2.
