Rules and Regulations for Hot Rods Auditions at SKyPAC
National Anthem:  Singers, musicians, and groups will be asked to perform the Star-Spangled Banner in its entirety.  There is no minimum age, but performers must be able to sing or play the National Anthem as it was meant to be played, in a timely fashion, and with the proper respect the song commands.  If auditioning with a musical instrument, musicians must provide the instrument.  All vocalists must be able to perform the song a cappella; track music will not be allowed for auditions or game performances.  If chosen to sing or play before a Hot Rods game, performers will be notified of their scheduled game at least one month prior to the date.

Public Address Announcer:  All PA hopefuls must be at least 21 years of age to audition and be available for 70 Hot Rods home games.  Potential PA announcers will be asked to read a sponsored promotion, present a potential starting line-up, and introduce a Hot Rods’ player to home plate.  Performers will be judged on voice strength, presence, and energy level.  Selection of announcer(s) will also be based on availability.

On-Field Emcee:  All candidates must be at least 21 years old to audition and be available for 70 Hot Rods home games.  Potential on-field emcees will be asked to read a sponsored promotion and act out two (2) on-field promotions which include explanation of game to fans, introduction of contestants and commentary where necessary during promotion.   Performers will be judged on voice strength, presence, and energy level.  Selection of on-field emcee(s) will also be based on availability.

Citizens First Opening Night is Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Bowling Green Ballpark when the Hot Rods take on the South Bend Silver Hawks (D-backs) at 7:05 PM.  Call the Hot Rods at (270) 901-2121 or visit BGHotRods.com to secure your seats.
