HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD: Bears finish fifth, Lady Bears sixth at Warren East Raider Classic

BOWLING GREEN - The Butler County Bears finished fifth and the Lady Bears sixth at the Warren East Raider Classic on Saturday. 

In addition to host Warren East and Butler County, the high school track and field event included Owensboro Catholic, Bowling Green, South Warren, Greenwood and Warren Central. 

Leading performers for the Bears were Christian Henderson (8th, Boys' 200 Meter Dash; 7th, Boys' 400 Meter Dash), Bryar Beasley (7th, Boys' 800 Meter Run), Cody Perry (7th, Boys' 1600 Meter Run; 8th, Boys' 3200 Meter Run), Trenton Stovall (4th, Boys' 110 Meter Dash; 4th, Boys' 110 Meter Hurdles; 2nd, Boys' 300 Meter Hurdles), Dawson Carroll (6th, Boys' 110 Meter Dash), the Boys' 4x100 Meter Relay Team (4th), the Boys' 4x400 Meter Relay Team (1st); Tyler Smith (2nd, Boys' High Jump), Daltyn Havens (5th, Boys' High Jump; 5th, Boys' Long Jump) and Trentin Embry (8th, Boys' Discus). 

Leading performers for the Lady Bears were Hannah Whittinghill (3rd, Girls' 200 Meter Dash; 2nd, Girls' 400 Meter Dash), Michelle Cardwell (4th, Girls' 400 Meter Dash), Hannah Logan (6th, Girls' 400 Meter Dash), Autumn Jenkins (7th, Girls' 1600 Meter Run), Mattie Smith (5th, Girls' 3200 Meter Run), Kierra Neighbors (3rd, Girls' 100 Meter Hurdles; 4th, Girls' 300 Meter Hurdles), the Girls' 4x200 Meter Relay Team (6th), the Girls' 4x400 Meter Relay Team (2nd), Raeleigh Parrish (8th, Girls' Triple Jump) and Paige Alford (4th, Discus).
