Dr. Steve Hampton opened his new location last March at 51 Parkway Lane, in front of the Butler County Extension Office.  This past Saturday, his wife Keila, Dr. Joy Wells, office manager Audrey Van Meter, and several employees welcomed the public from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dr. Hampton and Dr. Wells gave tours of the state-of-the-art facility.

There were inflatables, hot dogs, chips, games, prizes, and even some face painting.

Dr. Hampton explained that an essential part of their service is to make the patients and their owners feel comfortable while they are at the hospital.

Heritage is equipped to handle both large and small animals.

They also have a bereavement room when the time comes and the family doesn't want their pet to suffer anymore.

The hours of operation are

8 a.m. to 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, preferably by appointment
